Carrion's chances of becoming mayor in 2009 died tonight. Pity the poor Steinbrenner sucker.

Wish we had more time to let he and the Yankee "officials" talk themselves into the proverbial "hole".
Did anyone notice that the Yankees are putting the responsibilty of alienating the parks onto CarriĆ³n?
The Yankees' arrogance has not changed from the attitude they had back in the 90's when they were comparing the kids of the neighborhood to monkeys.
Some of the elected officials were probably of the age and among the group that was referred to as monkeys and now here they are selling out the neighborhood.

Grow up folks! This is a great plan. Yor anti-development attitudes only serve to keep the Bronx poor, underserved, and lacking economic investment. Carrion is COURAGEOUS to stand up to the community board and to narrow-minded groups such as yourselves. His chances for becoming Mayor just SHOT UP.

Amen! Save our Parks...maybe you should call yourself "Kill our Borough". Lets see, this plan would acutally increase park space, make the area more user friendly, and hmm....CREATE JOBS!
